One of the favorite garments of our house is the Cardigan. We love this versatile, timeless and so easy to wear garment who does not follow to specific fashions, but who somehow manages to be always present in our wardrobe.
The cardigan has a thousand versions, it is open in the front, it can have buttons or a zipper, or not! With or without collar, for men or women, formal or informal, thicker or thinner and in infinite colors. It is incredible how unnoticed it can seem, this garment is so useful that almost sure that everyone has one at home.
We make our version of this classic piece by hand with needles using Mohair or Alpaca mixed with silk or another delicate fiber. These natural fibers famous for their softness and lightness look splendid and soft when woven into a cardigan, giving a delicious feeling of comfort.My personal favorite combination is with a simple dress. But it also looks fabulous with jeans or skirts.
Contrary to its delicate and fine appearance, over time a true all-rounder is revealed that combines with almost everything and you can use it almost daily because these fibers are incredibly easy to care.
Making a cardigan of this type takes time, it takes between 24 to 30 hours of work and hence few pieces are produced. You can see some of them in our Studio in Amsterdam or at events we attend. The price depends on the piece that is one of a kind and is made completely seamless so that the good sensations are guaranteed.
